Please be aware that the temperature on Sunday, May 22, is forecasted to reach into the high 90s on the Medford campus with humidity over 40 percent. The university is taking several precautions for your comfort and safety.

Water. Staying hydrated is critical to keeping cool in the heat. Water fountains are in most buildings and will be on the Academic Quad outside of East Hall, West Hall, and Goddard Chapel. Please plan to bring a water bottle with you, if possible.

Indoor Viewing Locations. Phase I will be simulcast starting at 9:00 a.m. in ASEAN Auditorium, Cabot Center; Cohen Auditorium; and Steve Tisch Sports and Fitness Center, Room 301. See the Medford campus map for directions. If it is too hot for you to be outside, we encourage you to stay cool indoors. If you are indoors, please remember you must wear a mask.

Public Safety. Watch for signs of heat-related illness (heat cramps, heat exhaustion, heat stroke). If you feel ill or are helping someone who is ill, please look for medical and public safety staff wearing high-visibility reflective green vests throughout the campus or call campus emergency at 617-627-6911.
