Please note that you must verify the spelling of your name, as you wish it to appear on your diploma by logging into SIS at http://go.tufts.edu/sis. After logging in under the About Me tab, click the pencil next to your name. You will be brought to another window, click Add Name, choose Diploma name. Update your diploma name and click save if you wish to have your full middle name or just initial. If using your middle initial only, please include a period after the initial if desired. You may also update with any accents marks or special Characters. All diploma names will be reviewed for compliance with the Tufts preferred name policy. Tufts University recognizes that members of the Tufts community may prefer to use names other than their legal names to identify themselves. Tufts University acknowledges that a “preferred name” may be used on certain University records as long as the use of their preferred name is not for the purposes of misrepresentation or otherwise prohibited by state or federal law. See the Tufts Preferred Name Policy. This must be done by Friday, February 21st, 2020.
By logging in to Webcenter, you will be able to see that you are certified, check your Commencement venue, and check for any outstanding holds on your account. On Friday, May 15th, you will be able to see the latin honors you are receiving, if applicable. If you are to receive honors, your marching card must be stamped at the Student Services desk in Dowling Hall on Friday, May 15th from 10:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m..
Receiving Your Diploma
Diplomas will be mailed to you following the Commencement ceremonies on May 17th. Please make sure your mailing address is updated in SIS.
