Dear May Degree Candidate,
Commencement 2015 is rapidly approaching! Please keep the following information in mind as you move forward toward completion of your degree.
Login to iSIS at http://go.tufts.edu/isis to review your Graduation Status. A status of “Applied for Graduation” means your degree sheet has not been received, or your degree sheet was returned to the academic department for missing information (such as a required signature). A status of “In Review” means your degree sheet has been received and your degree requirements are being reviewed. You and/or your department will be contacted with any questions or concerns.
The earliest date that your status may change to “Approved for Graduation” is Thursday, May 7th.
Below is a comprehensive list of requirements and deadlines for May degree conferral. Please review this list to ensure you are on track to graduate. As deadlines approach, it is not always possible to respond to individual requests for confirmation of completion and receipt of documents.
Diploma Name and Mailing Address
Please be sure to add or review your “Diploma Name” and “Diploma Address” in your iSIS record. Click on the Graduation Status icon on the home page, and update the appropriate link for name/address. In the absence of a diploma name, your primary name will be printed on your diploma. Diploma names must be added by April 9th. Names submitted after April 9th are not guaranteed to be printed in time for Commencement. A fee will be assessed to reprint diplomas after Commencement. In the absence of a diploma mailing address, your diploma (if not picked-up at Commencement) will be mailed to your home address. Diploma addresses must be entered before Commencement, but you are encouraged to add it before April 9th while updating your name.
Graduate Exit Survey
On April 1st you will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org that will ask you to complete the Graduate Exit Survey. The email will contain a secure link. The Graduate Exit Survey is required, and individual responses are kept confidential. Please complete the survey as soon as possible. Your responses to this survey make a difference. Results from previous years have led to many important changes that have improved the graduate student experience here at Tufts.
