Following the University-wide Commencement Ceremony (Phase I) graduates of the School of Arts & Sciences and the School of Engineering are invited to enjoy a gourmet box lunch presented by Tufts Dining.

Complimentary Luncheon Tickets

Each graduate will receive three complimentary tickets for the luncheon with their marching order cards. One ticket is to be used by the graduate; the other two are for the graduate’s guests.

Additional Luncheon Tickets

Additional luncheon tickets may be purchased for family and friends from the Tufts Dining Administrative Office located at 89-91 Curtis Street between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from Friday, April 22nd, to Friday, May 20th at noon.  Tickets are $9.50 each payable by cash or personal check, MasterCard, Visa or Discover.

  • Tickets must be presented in exchange for a gourmet box lunch.
  • Tickets will NOT be sold on Commencement Day.
  • Tickets are of no cash value and are not redeemable at any other campus dining location.

Luncheon Details for Main Campus Ceremonies

Graduates participating in Phase II ceremonies located anywhere on the Main Campus will enjoy lunch on the Tisch Library lawn. Lunches will be available from 11:30am to 2:00pm under the Tufts Dining tent.  There will be a vegetarian lunch option available.  Graduates who need a gluten-free or kosher meal should contact the Tufts Dining Office in advance at 617-627-3750.

Other Campus Food Service Options

Graduates and their guests who are not in possession of Luncheon Tickets but who would like to enjoy lunch on campus may visit the Mayer Campus Center at 44 Professors Row. Food service will be available at the Commons Deli and Grill on Commencement Day from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

Breakfast will be available on campus Commencement Day in the following locations:

  • Dewick-MacPhie Dining Center 7:00am-10:00am
  • Carmichael Dining Center 7:00am-10:00am
  • Campus Center Commons 8:00am-10:30am

Tufts Dining will also operate concession stands around campus on Commencement Day providing a variety of pastries, snacks, coffee and cold beverages. Look for our stands beginning at 7:00 a.m. in the areas near West Hall (off of Packard Avenue) and Eaton Hall.  There is an additional concession stand located near Cousens Gym on College Avenue.
